Earlier this week Marc Fransen turned down the offered coaching position for the 2023-2024 season due to a dispute regarding the introduction of minimum coach qualification standards for both U18 and U20 National Team staff. Additionally, Marc decided to also terminate his participation into the RBIHF player development program HELLO PLAYER.

Marc joined the RBIHF Player development program in October 2019 when Johan Bollue rebranded the RBIHF Talent Pool program to HELLO PLAYER to match the existing HELLO HOCKEY recruitment program. 4-years long (including 2 CORONA seasons), Marc lead the HELLO PLAYER program and attended 2 IIHF world championships with the U18 National Team.

Despite the change, the RBIHF development team and the HELLO PLAYER program are continuing all activities including the extension to U14 boys and girls as planned. The evaluation day U14 and U16 is planned for September 16 in Mechelen, U18 evaluation day is foreseen Sunday September 17 also in Mechelen.
Selected players will be invited by email.
