While many are enjoying a well-deserved summer break, ice hockey club HC Kortrijk Spurs is hard at work preparing for the upcoming season.
Following the rejection of the latest environmental permit, ice rink De Piste is working closely with the club to find a solution that will allow the season to start on time. Despite this challenge, the club remains confident in a successful restart.
The club is doing everything it can to ensure that all players can continue practicing their sport in Kortrijk. That commitment is at the heart of their current efforts.
At this time, there is no reason for members to be concerned. The Royal Belgian Ice Hockey Federation (RBIHF) is in close contact with the club and is considering several possible scenarios. As soon as more clarity is available, the club will communicate updates through its official channels. We, too, are closely monitoring the situation.
