The yearly coach certification course will this year take place in Antwerp on Saturday 10 and 11 September. Now that the RBIHF has included a certification check to GAMEPASSPORT to make coaching of youth teams only available to certified coaches, it will be important more than ever before to ensure that every club has sufficient active coaches available for next season.
LEARN TO PLAY (LTP), COACH L1 and COACH L2 will be organised over the weekend, all programs or open for ice hockey and inline hockey coaches and will be instructed by external IIHF instructors. The coaching program is stretched over a longer period, but participants will be granted a temporally coaching license following a first evaluation, so that all students are allowed on GAMEPASSPORT shortly following the course.
Depending on the interest a NEW COACH L3 course will be also organised during the 2022-2023 season. Initial contacts have been made with IIHF coaches to conduct the program.
