Following a 4-2 victory in Mechelen on Saturday, HYC Herentals had to win game number 2. The team of Timothy Dhont did what it had to do and came out strong on the face-off. HYC dominated the 2nd game of the playoffs in a full ice hockey stadium. The game finished with a 5-3 victory for Herentals. As Both teams won one game, an additional 5min 3vs3 overtime was needed to determine the 2022-2023 championship. Despite a minor penalty for Coldplay, HYC was unable pass the puck behind a great playing ColdPlay Goalie TIBE PALINCKX. With only 13 seconds remaining on the clock captain KAELAN LAUWERYSEN scored the only and winning goal on a break-out.
