Organization BNL restarted
Past weeks many efforts have been made to find a solution for the continuation of the BNL. The challenge was to create clarity about a workable cooperation between the two countries. After quite some discussions, both parties have jointly decided to give the representatives of Ice Hockey Netherlands and the Belgian federation the mandate to take decisions and steps in the continuation of the Bene-League.
Together they need to come up with plans as soon as possible for the start, adjustment of the regulations and possible set-up of the BNL competition, as well as a set-up of the national cup competitions and finals for the national championships. In the long term, the goal is to expand the BNL, market the BNL more strongly, and further cooperation between the two countries. Examples are cooperation in the field of training and cooperation at youth level.
