LEUVEN - Another Leuven champion, perhaps the most unexpected. In the final of the playoffs, they took on Mechelen Future Golden Sharks. The first game, Chiefs won in with 2-5, in the second game it was 1-1. Penalty shots had to decide the game and then came out in favour of Mechelen Future Golden Sharks. So there came a third match on Monday, April 1. 0-0 after the third period. In OT, Flavio Deverchin gave Leuven Young Chiefs the winning goal and the championship.
