Past weekend 180 youth players from all over Belgium attended the player evaluation days for U14, U16 and U18. Our Club selected U14 and U16 players tried out to make this seasons Hello Player Talent Pool selection. The renewed program includes for the first season the U14 age group and female players.
Another program change this season are the introduction of day-camps beside weekend-camps and significant participation cost reduction. In addition, a close cooperation with club-coaches will be introduced as the RBIHF Hello Player program will now also support the certification Coach level-1 and Coach level-2 program.
The National Team U18 program also kicked-off with an evaluation day for potential players and goalies.
More details will be made available over the coming weeks as the upgraded program will be rolled-out.
To support the extended Hello Player program 3 additional mentor coaches were added to the coaches’ mentor group. Beside Steve Sels, Sebastien Deverchin and Gert Michiels, 3 new experienced coaches were added to the staff; Guylian Turgeon, Ben Boute and Nick Baeten.
