CHARLEROI - After a successful day with victories against Poland and Sweden, Team SEN Men had another tough nut to crack today, Saturday, July 29. In the semi-final for the President's Cup, the top-down competition, followed the face-off against a strong Slovakia. The final score did not lie. The Belgian goalies were passed 19 times. Eliot Sallendre was able to soften the bitter pill by removing the zero from the scoreboard on an assist from Thomas De Smit.
 
“Yesterday we went all the way winning both games. We paid a prize today,” said Assistant-Captain Loïc Dury. “We hardly slept due to the adrenaline, and we also had to deal with a couple of injuries. We were tired but managed to play as a team. The opponent was just too strong.”
 
Team U19 Women played the quarterfinals against France and failed to score. The French netted the puck passed the Belgian goalies six times.
 
Team U17 Men played two games today. In the first game against Slovakia, this strong team won by double digits. Final score: 30-0. The second game against Ireland ended with 0-10 in favor of the Irish.
