LEARN TO PLAY (LTP) 2025
This course is conducted in ENGLISH
Basic course specifically designed to work with the youngest group in our sport U8-U10-U12.
The course the provide you insight of the IIHF Player Development framework. The cross-ice games and station work during practices.
It also focuses on player recruitment and retention.
The certificate is mandatory by the RBIHF to coach the U8-U10 and U12 group.
The program is divided in different parts
- The 2-day theoretical cours
- Theoretical evaluation (open book)
- Practical evaluation during 2 mandatory LTP sessions over the season
Following the passing of the theoretical evaluation the participant will receive a temporary LTP-coach licence for the 2025-2026 season that allows him/she to coach U8-U10 and U12.
At the end of the season following practical evaluation during an LTP event the certification will be completed and received by the participant.
The 2-day clinic in MECHELEN SEPTEMBER 13 and 14 are essential (attendance is mandatory)
day planning will be received 2 weeks prior to the course.
