The Level 2 Coach Recertification pathway is designed for coaches who currently hold a valid Level 2 Coaching Certificate and wish to extend their certification for an additional two years.
To complete the recertification process, coaches will undergo a practical assessment during the season. This assessment consists of a minimum of three on-site coaching reviews conducted by the Regional Development Manager or an assigned evaluator.
To allow sufficient time for planning and completion of these reviews, coaches are required to apply for recertification at least six months before the end of the season in which their current certification expires.
Once this product has been purchased, the relevant Regional Development Manager will be notified and the coach will be added to the recertification review schedule.
Important Information
- A minimum of three practical coaching reviews are required.
- Coaches may apply for recertification up to one year before their certification expiry date.
- Early completion of the recertification process does not change the validity period of the current certificate.
- The new two-year certification period will always begin from the expiry date of the current certificate.
- Upon successful completion of the recertification process, the coach will receive a two-year extension of their Level 2 Coaching Certificate.
The fee for this product covers the complete recertification pathway, including the required practical coaching reviews and administration of the certification extension.
Example:
If a coach's Level 2 certification expires on 30 June 2027 and they successfully complete recertification in January 2027, their new certification period will still begin on 1 July 2027 and remain valid for a further two years
