Club Referee Managers
At the start of the new hockey season it is important to align existing processes and procedures and explain new rules and regulations.
To increase the base level of our Belgian youth ice hockey it is crucial that all parties involved are working on development, and that includes our youth referees.
The RBIHF invests this season more into referee development what allows for better referee coaching and more game supervisions. To accommodate this planning we need to make some changes to the structure today. During the meeting these and more items will be discussed.
Your job as Club Referee Manager in a nutshell:
- Promote RESPECT for Club officials to players and parents
- Recruit enthusiastic aspirant Club Referees
- Plan / enroll your officials for RDP courses and sessions
- Assign Club referees to your home games
- Support the officials during games
