Bij gebruik van medicatie welke als doping op de 2010 Prohibited List staat, dient voorafgaandelijk (minstens 21 dagen) een Therapeutic Use Exemption aan de IIHF aangevraagd te worden via email eskola@iihf.com of via fax (+41 44 562 22 69).

National Team: Declaration Of Use 2010

Vanaf 1/10/2009 vervangt de procedure "Declaration Of Use" de vroegere "Therapeutic Use Exemption Abbreviated Form" in het geval van gebruik van bepaalde puffers (beta-2-mimetica) salbutamol (Ventolin) en salmeterol (Serevent)" of gebruik van glucocorticoïden (cortisone) in bepaalde inspuitbare en inhaleerbare vormen.

Hier kan je controleren of de medicamenten, puffers of andere producten die je gebruikt niet op de lijst van verboden producten staan conform de WADA Prohibited List of Substances 2009.

spinal cord injuries

The IIHF medical committee introduced the "Spinal Injury Survey Form" a few years ago. This allows the IIHF to determine the causes and different types of injuries that happen to the spinal cord during icehockey games.

So if a player sustains a neck, back or other spine injuries that needs medical assessment (a player is transported from the ice and seeing a doctor or going a to an emergency department), please fill out the form and send it to the IIHF office and a copy to Medical Committee of the RBIHF. Thanks for your cooperation. Please report this message to all the teams, officials, coaches, managers, doctors, physical therapists and players that are within or work with your team.
